Veterinarian
Dr. Margaux Siongco comes from a family of doctors and nurses, but her love for animals swayed her toward the direction of veterinary medicine. Dr. Siongco attended University of the Philippines College of Veterinary Medicine and obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2013, graduating the top ten of her DVM class. She received the UPLB Alumni Association Leadership Award that year, as well as being recognized as having the best undergraduate thesis on dogs and cats. Upong relocating to the United States, Dr. Siongco worked as a veterinary assistant while juggling motherhood and licensing exams to practice veterinary medicine in US. In 2021, she received her Foreign Veterinary Graduates Certificate in from the American Veterinary Medical Association and completed her initial training for the USDA National Veterinary Accreditation Program at Iowa State University.
Dr. Siongco enjoys educating her clients about their pet’s health and/or condition with an emphasis on preventative care, which not only enhances the pet's quality of life, but also helps to keep pet care costs manageable for clients over time. She also loves the reward of seeing her patients feeling better after receiving care from her and the veterinary team. When not at Central Boulevard Vet Hospital, Dr. Siongco likes to enjoy a good book, listening to music, spending time outdoors, and exploring the city with her family.
